White maize mills are run by VKB Milling (Pty) Ltd at Mokopane, Louis Trichardt, and Mashishing in Limpopo, as well as a wheat mill and bakery in Frankfort in the Free State.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

assist with general activities in the mill’s workshop.

REQUIREMENTS

12th grade or NQF4

Fluency in Afrikaans and English communication will be advantageous.

willingness to perform at a high level

1-3 years of relevant work experience in a comparable position

punctual and open to working additional hours

No Criminal History

THE DUTY AND THE RESPONSIBILITY

Help the craftsman cut down on factory problems and downtime to cut down on wasteful expenses.

assist with all electrical equipment maintenance and repairs as well as on-site electrical installations and inspections.

Help with the completion of job cards, check sheets, and documentation.

Before the start of the production shift, assist in the startup of any electrical equipment and resolve issues.

Follow the rules and guidelines set out by Flour Mills regarding occupational health and safety regulations.

to consistently communicate with internal divisions to guarantee high-quality services and goods.

must satisfactorily complete all training exercises assigned by the direct manager
