Introduction
This position will be based at the Kroondal operations site.
Description
The purpose of this position is to assist with housekeeping and engineering maintenance activities under instruction from the artisan/supervisor.
responsibilities and obligations
lifting, holding, positioning, and supporting parts and materials while working, either physically or with the necessary equipment.
helps with component disassembly and reassembly according to instructions
loads and unloads components and commodities from transport trucks as needed.
transfers goods to and from storage places by lifting, carrying, and using non-self-propelled equipment
As directed by the craftsman or engineering supervisor, assist with installations and breakdowns when services are needed.
carries out routine housekeeping tasks
When directed by the Artisan or Engineering Supervisor, perform an observational function, such as a fire watch check for burning conveyors or a pipeline leak check.
Qualification Requirements
- Grade 12
Experience and Skills Requirements
- 1 years’ experience and knowledge within mining industry is preferred
- English Language Proficiency
- Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Procedures
- Time Management
