Job Description
To join our Baking Division, RCL FOODS is looking for a Diesel Mechanic. The position reports to the transport manager and will be situated in Nelspruit. RCL FOODS is seeking an applicant who will be in charge of maintaining the functionality of diesel equipment by carrying out inspections and necessary preventative maintenance, addressing any issues with the vehicle, doing adjustments and alignments, and maintaining records.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (N3 and Trade Test Certificate)
3 years of hands-on experience with Man, Toyota, and Nissan Trucks
Experience on forklifts will be an advantage
Auto electrical experience will be an advantage
Code EC driver’s license with PDP
Duties & Responsibilities
Service and maintenance of the vehicle fleet consisting of trucks, trailers, forklifts, mobile equipment etc.
Roadside assistance (breakdowns)
Minor auto electrical work
Complete job cards timeously
Accident & incident investigations
Perform standby duties
