An experienced Heavy Current Electrician is needed for the Remanufacturing Division at Komatsu South Africa in Germiston. The ideal applicant should have a suitable Electrician Trade Certificate and at least three years of post-trade experience using heavy earthmoving equipment in the mining sector.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A qualified Heavy Current Electrician
- Grade 12/N3 Technical Certificate/equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
3 years’ experience in the earth moving/mining equipment industry.
Heavy current experience essential.
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
• Contact with equipment that moves the earth.
• Possess solid troubleshooting skills for devices using common tools
• Have computer skills.
• Solid knowledge of maintenance principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• A valid driving permit.
