about rand water
The goal of Rand Water is to provide all stakeholders with world-class water that is cheap, dependable, and of high quality, using safe, efficient transportation, sustainable business processes, empowered workers, mutually beneficial strategic alliances, and industry best practices. More than 11 million people in Gauteng, some of Mpumalanga, the Free State, and North West receive bulk potable water from Rand Water, one of the largest bulk water utilities in the world and the largest in Africa.
Rand Water collects water from its catchments and cleans it for use by people. After that, the water is given or sold to businesses like mines and industries.
