Job Purpose

To manage and maintain installation or repair work in line with a specific trade (e.g. electrical; mechanical; plumbing; welding etc.) to deliver an exceptional service to customers and minimise business disruptions; in line with Nedbank business strategy.

Job Responsibilities

Implementing, supervising, and keeping an eye on a schedule maintenance plan will help you control expenditures.

Maintain business continuity via efficient stock management and spending restraint.

Adhere to agreed-upon service level agreements to achieve company goals and objectives.

Follow work plans and standards to make sure quality and turnaround times are fulfilled.

By routinely observing their actions, make sure that external stakeholders provide professional and quality service.

By ensuring that the Net Promoter Score (NPS) is within the predetermined level, manage customer expectations.

By delivering responsive service in accordance with established Service Level Agreements, stakeholders may establish and sustain strong professional relationships (SLA)

Processing job cards in accordance with management instructions will ensure the orderly flow of work.

Adhere to Nedbank’s operational risk management procedures to ensure that risks are effectively managed and controlled.

Ensure that the equipment is regularly serviced to preserve and extend its useful life.

By guaranteeing adherence to established service levels, you can make sure vendor performance is tracked and evaluated.

By comparing the job completed with the vendor bills received, you may reduce the likelihood of losing money.

By adhering to industry best practices, procedures are made to be effective and efficient.

Follow the OHSA guidelines to ensure adherence to safety and health rules.

By adhering to the guidelines in the preventative maintenance plan, you can guarantee the full operation of Nedbank facilities.

By reading the pertinent publications, visiting the websites, and participating in sessions, stay up to date on legislation and other business developments that affect your work.

Recognize and uphold the Nedbank vision, and through interactions with the team and stakeholders, show the values.

By ensuring that all learning activities are finished, experience is exercised, and certificates are achieved and/or maintained within predetermined time periods, you may ensure personal progress and enable effectiveness in the fulfillment of duties and responsibilities.

Essential Qualifications – NQF Level

 

  • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
  • Diploma

Preferred Qualification

  • National Certificates and Occupational Awards

 

Minimum Experience Level

  • 1 -2 years experience in a relevant trade

 

Professional or technical knowledge

Systems and processes for administration

commercial jargon and meanings
