Overview
Equipment and machinery should be monitored, maintained, and repaired while following GMP and safety regulations.
Create and carry out a preventive and corrective maintenance program.
Make sure servicing equipment runs as efficiently as possible to achieve anticipated output levels.
Use process engineering approaches to innovate and make sure that manufacturing machinery and processes run as efficiently as possible.
Planning and Operational Support
Act as a technical/subject matter resource
Facilitate implementation of current processes
Identify gaps in current policies and procedures
Provide input into changes or improvements to processes, tools and techniques
Train staff on SOPs and maintenance of equipment/ machinery Production Facility Maintenance
Plan technical requirements and maintenance tasks according to production requirements to meet Production Plan
Review and update maintenance schedules
Perform planned preventative maintenance and inspections according to maintenance plan, job cards, and SOPs
Repair breakdowns according to best practice, job cards and SOPs
To determine the source of a machine malfunction, troubleshoot the device.
To reduce machine downtime, do root cause analysis to determine what causes machine failures and quality issues.
Put remedial measures in place to reduce machine downtime.
Replace, remove, and isolate faulty components.
Build and cancel job cards; finish and submit work requests.
Keep the workshop, equipment, and resources up to par.
Identify and order the parts, materials, and specialized equipment needed to maintain the machinery or equipment.
Install, verify, and test the machine’s operational effectiveness Automotive Engineering
Maintain machine calibration in accordance with SOPs and instructions, and make that machine safety precautions are in place.
To avoid quality issues, find and fix equipment variances; Lower the cost of repairs that are outsourced
