Duties include; but are not limited to:
· Maintenance on explosives units and sites.
· Required outputs: Functional
· Inspect and service mechanical and electrical equipment
· Faultfinding and problem solving on equipment
· Record keeping
· Conform to Sasol SHERQ system
· Daily liaison with customer and or production personnel regarding equipment
· Report to stakeholders on breakdowns and preventative maintenance
· Spares ordering and distribution
· Carry out basic administrative duties
· Must be prepared to work underground
· Must be prepared to work shifts when necessary
· Must be prepared to do standby
· Must have own transport
· Actively participate as a team member on site
· Safety conscious and practice good housekeeping
· Conform to Enaex Africa values
· Strong communication and organizing skills
· Must be Able to work independently
Minimum Requirements and Experience:
- Grade 12 with Math’s and Science(Must)
- Qualified Trade test of Electrician (Must)
- Code 11/14 driver’s license (wish) Min code 08 or 10 (Must)
- Experience in the mining environment (wish)
· Medically fit
· Specific experience required
· Sound mechanical knowledge
· Knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
· 1 – 3 years’ work experience

- Enaex Africa produces and distributes a wide variety of explosives and value-added solutions, providing all the products required to execute the entire blasting process, including several types of bulk emulsions, cartridge emulsions, boosters and conventional and electronic detonators, among others. These products are used in blasting for opencast and underground mining operations, quarries and civil construction.
