Join this exceptional team in the position of Electrician. You will be expected to maintain, install and commission the electrical components of machinery and equipment.

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Conduct safety meetings and Risk Assessments
- Reporting on safety and deviations and record results of all legal examinations
- Achievement of safe production performance levels through the effective maintenance, installation and commissioning of equipment
- Manage breakdowns and emergencies as well as Planned Maintenance
- Ensure that material, spares and equipment are available as required and job cards are fully completed
- Supervision of external service providers and internal Engineering Assistants
- On the job training and coaching for our trainee artisans
This role is in the Engineering department at a C2 level and reports into the Electrical Foreman.
In order to be successful in this role, you will need:
- Grade 12 and Technical Trade Specific N2
- Electrician Trade Certificate
- Medium Voltage Certificate / Training would be an advantage
- Experience with Variable Speed Drives and Simocodes will be an advantage
Some additional requirements will include:
- English literacy – speak, read and write
- You will be available to work shifts and overtime if necessary as well as be on standby
- Valid code 08 drivers licence, your own vehicle would be an advantage
- Basic computer literacy
If successful, you will be required to undergo a Medical Fitness Test.
