In this role you will be responsible for:
• The successful will report to the Artisan (Electrician) and is responsible for all functions relating to assisting the Artisan (Electrician) in general and within the specific engineering section to ensure safe and optimum production through quality maintenance, repairs, execution of outlined tasks and for sufficient operation for the new PGM Plant.
• Duties includes but not limited to planned maintenance, breakdowns, and project work
• Compliance with the company’s HSEC system is essential, ensuring implementation of management decisions, legal requirements, and the company standards/policies
About you:
• Grade 12 with applicable N2 certificate • Relevant Engineering Aid Certificate
• Mining & Plant industry experience as an Artisan Aid will be an advantage
• Proficiency in English Written Language
• Medical fitness
• Incumbent most be willing to work overtime when required
• Performance / Achievement Driven, Accurate and timeous completion of assignments (result driven)
• Ability to function independently, good interpersonal skills, proficient communication skills in English
