Introduction
We are currently rectuitig for an Electronic Technician Assistant N3 Village to join our team.
Main Job Purposes
The principal purpose of this role is to be an assistant plaza Technician in conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on Electronic and Electrical equipment in the toll collection system, maintenance of traffic management peripherals within the toll plaza, carry out plaza related works on instruction from the plaza Technician and to report any serious and malicious damage to TCE equipment to Plaza Technician.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 Certificate
N3/N4 Certificate in Electronics.
At least 3 years related experience
Valid Unendorsed Code 08 Drivers License
Knowledgeable
knowledge of MIS Electronic Toll Collection System
Industrial Networking experience advantageous
Plc experience advantageous
Understanding operation and maintenance manuals
SHEQ compliance and good workmanship practices

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in conducting daily and monthly inspections of all toll collection equipment, traffic management peripherals within the Toll Plaza
Assist in ensuring that all TCE systems are adequately maintained as per procedures and client requirements.
Attending to minor breakdowns and responding to queries timeously.
Installation of new equipment, replacement of old equipment and repairs in accordance with regulatory guidelines and company procedure.
Report all incidents in the prescribed manner.
Keep record of work done
Provide support and assistance to other departments as and when required to ensure customer service satisfaction and efficiency
Ensure tools are kept in a good and clean working order.
Ensure all health, safety and security policies and procedures are always followed.
Comply with all rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the company.
Ensure that all equipment will be in good working order to ensure the Company can comply with all contractual obligations.
To perform overtime and standby duties as required.
Assist with overseeing and managing ad hoc projects as and when required.
