Role Purpose:

• Electrical, Mechanical and Civil maintenance and repair of Agriculture related machinery and equipment

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Senior Certificate  or similar technical qualification (N3)
• Drivers licence
• Electrical Modules M0-4

Required Experience:

• 3 years experience in Electrical, Civil and Mechanical environment
• Building, plastering, tiling, tap and geyser installations, woodwork, drains, manholes, roof repairs, cementing, epoxy floor repairs, door replacements, clearing blocked drains, not limited to.
• Poultry experience advantageous

Civil

• Inspection of water systems and main water supply as per maintenance schedule
• Maintenance and repair of water systems and water supply in accordance to the maintenance plan and schedule
• Repair of water systems and water supply per breakdown
• Repair of plumbing systems in Agriculture residential buildings per breakdown
• Maintenance and repair of Agricultural buildings as per maintenance schedule
• Maintenance and repair of Agricultural residential buildings as per maintenance schedule.

Electrical Maintenance

• Electrical repair on Agriculture residential buildings per breakdown
• Electrical maintenance and repair on Agriculture buildings per maintenance schedule•General
• Inspection and signing off on tasks allocated to Maintenance Assistants
• Training and Development of Maintenance Assistants under direct control to handyman level
• Discipline of maintenance assistants under direct control
• Participation in planning and execution of any mechanical, electrical and civil construction, maintenance and repair wrt planned projects at the agriculture and residential areas
• Participation in planning, design and manufacturing of any equipment, implements or construction that will enhance Agric operations
• Execution of all reasonable instructions issued by authorised personnel /management
• Daily inspection of all agriculture related machinery, equipment and constructions for prevention of breakdowns
• Perform standby duties
