Job Advert Summary:
Reporting to the Instrumentation Foreman, the successful candidate will provide back-up and support to the Instrument Mechanician in order to assist in maintaining instrument installations so that no problems are experienced.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or equivalent
One year working experience in a similar working environment.
Basic Safety course/training
Primary Duties
Provide general assistance to Instrument Mechanician.
Transporting tools and materials to and from where work is being carrying out.
Cleaning of tools and general cleaning duties.
Assist Artisan with general cable work.
Assist Artisan with Instrumentation calibration, identifying, handing over of tools, power tools and testing equipment
Relief from time to time as Storeman in the Instrumentation workshop as and when required.
