Position Overview

• • We are seeking entrée level electrical artisan’s assistant from the rail industry to join our team for a 6-month contract based in Midrand. The ideal candidate will be a trainee electrician who has not completed their artisanship. You will need to assist the Artisan with maintenance and overhaul of the train fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• • • • :
        • Installation and maintenance activities on rail fleet overhaul projects.
        • Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated timeframes and budgets while maintaining quality standards.
      • Health, Safety, and Compliance:
        • Enforce adherence to safety regulations and protocols on-site.
        • Ensure compliance with relevant local and international standards for electrical installations and rail systems.

Requirements

• • • • Qualifications:
        • N3 to N6 Electrician not trade tested as yet
        • South African matric certificate or an N3 or N6
      • Experience:
        • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the rail industry or heavy manufacturing industry, with a focus on electrical installations and maintenance.
        • Able to work overtime and on weekends
      • Other Requirements:
        • Willingness to work flexible hours and adapt to project demands.
