Mechanical Assistant

Job Purpose:
To assist mechanic in daily repairs and maintenance of earthrnoving machines.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Minimum Grade 10
• Previous experience as mechanical assistant will be an advantage
• Understanding of earthmoving machinery
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of MHSA
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair and maintenance of different earthmoving machines.
• Perform daily inspection and fault finding and report to mechanics on breakdown
• Attend to breakdown as and when needed.
• Demonstrate ability to always work safe and report all hazards and unsafe work conditions to superior.
Personal Profile:
• Communication skills (verbal; written and electronic)
• Strong leadership abilities
• Planning and problem solving,
• Customer/client focus
• Valid driver’s license
• Medical Fitness Records
