Job Description
- Assist artisans on breakdowns
- Be able to do small breakdowns and installations on his/her own
- Disassemble and assemble equipment for cleaning
- Be able to do preventative maintenance schedules
- Filling in of Job cards
- Adhoc duties
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out Stripping of production machineries for cleaning, sanitising and greasing
- Carry out minor repairs such as replacing bearings, bolts and nuts, wiremeshes
- Carry out daily inspections on the machines and report any defects that may have noticed
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed timeously at all times
- Decide on which parts needs replacement and any additional work required
- Decide on additional activity that is required to improve performance of the machines
- Assist production in machine start-ups and set-ups in daily basis
- Check oil levels according to specifications and carry out lubrication schedules on daily, weekly, monthly as required
- Assist with loading and unloading of all types of equipment’s as required
- Cleaning of excess grease on the machines when necessary
- Assist Artisan with machines maintenance repairs when call upon to assist
- Daily cleaning of work areas, workshop and on a frequent base
- Assist Ecowise cleaning team to ensure all electrical panels, plugs, motors are covered before production lines and machines are cleaned
- Adhere to Quality and Food Safety requirements
- Conducting inspections as per internal audit plan
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12
- N2-N6 Will get preference
- Practical experience working with tools and factory/workshop are required
- Good track record
