This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on and theoretical training within a professional workshop environment that will shape your future in the electrical trade.
Purpose of the role:
To receive structured practical and theoretical training under the supervision of qualified artisans, with growing responsibility and technical development as the apprenticeship progresses.
Responsibilities: Practical training.
• Perform tasks and instructions as assigned
• Assist with fitting and maintenance of parts and equipment
• Clean and maintain tools
• Apply acquired knowledge in the workplace
• Complete practical modules
Theoretical training:
• Attend relevant training sessions and classes
• Complete technical subjects and modules
• Apply theoretical knowledge in practice
Minimum requirements:
• Grade 12 (national senior certificate)
• N3 qualification or relevant technical subjects at grade 12 level (advantageous)
• Strong practical judgement and manual skills
• Good numerical and decision-making abilities
• Ability to interpret networks and flow diagrams
• Proficiency in Afrikaans and/or English (spoken and written)
• Medically fit for physical work
