Introduction
Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining is offering an exciting opportunity for vibrant, motivated and talented individuals to join our Engineering Learnership Programme (18.1). This 36-month programme provides employees with structured workplace learning and trade-related training in the engineering field. The programme is available to all permanent employees of Tshipi é Ntle. On successful completion, candidates will obtain a recognized MQA/QCTO Trade Test Certificate and will return to their original positions.
Job description
- Attend theoretical and practical training as per the learnership/apprenticeship programme.
- Adhere to mine safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
- Always use correct PPE.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science
- Completed N2 Certificate with 4/5 trade-related subjects (or equivalent in a similar trade)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Successfully pass a medical assessment
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Engineering or the mining industry
