Required Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Preferably studying towards or holding a tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- N2 qualification (advantageous).
- Fitting or Fitting & Turning Trade Test would be advantageous
- Minimum of months relevant experience in a technical or engineering environment.
Required Experience:
- Assist Artisans with mechanical maintenance and repair tasks.
- Support engineering teams in completing projects.
- Assist in efficient day to day running and operating of equipment.
- Complete daily task at a reasonable pace and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks under supervision of Artisan.
- Good housekeeping and familiar with health & safety and hygiene.
- Administration of OHS Act requirements.
- Ensure adherence to all ISO 9001 and 22000 standards and procedures.
- Participate actively in a high-performance team.
- Clean and maintain machinery and equipment.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
- Good understanding of machinery and tools
- Willingness to work shifts and overtime as per operational requirements
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
