LH Marthinusen a division of ACTOM (Pty) Ltd is hiring Apprentices to join a 4 year Apprenticeship Programme. Successful applicants will be awarded a Limited Duration Contract with the possibility of permanent employment. Training for apprentices will be aligned with the requirements of MerSETA including qualifying fora trade test.

N2/NCV Level 4 with four complete subjects in the relevant trade

• Electrician

Responsibility:
• Basic Hand Tools
• First Aid
•Ability to work accurately and adhere to job specifications
• Personal Protective Equipment awareness
•Adhere to SHERQ Management regulations (ISO 9001,ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
• Effective communication and time management
• Completing log books
• Rotation to assigned department
• Other Production functions
WORKING CONDITIONS
(Physical, sensory, mental demands and environmental condi-tions) Factory/Workshop environment and on Eskom Power Stations in Mpumalanga / Volksrust areas. Bulk of the mechanical positions are linked to a 4-year Eskom contract, hence: Preference will be given to individuals who originate from the following areas: Volksrust, Amersfoort, Witbank, Middleburg, Lephalale and Delmas. Practical training will mainly be conducted at the factory workshop in Johannesburg as well as the relevant Eskom Power Stations. The region from which the individual originates will be taken into consideration.
