About the Opportunity:

The aim of the programme is to allow access to Technical/Trade related Programmes on a full-time basis. This programme will be administered by the Technical Learning Academy (TLA) as part of their drive to uplift Technical Skills within the organisation and the community. This programme is supported by the Union

The Applicant:

Must meet the following entry requirements:

• Have Matric with a pass in core Mathematics and Physical Science. Maths Literacy will not be considered.

• N3  (4 subjects including core Mathematics and Physical Science) or higher

Candidates:

• Will be interviewed and recommended by an interview panel
• Must select a field of training as 1ST Choice and 2nd Choice.
• Must be prepared and willing to complete studies on a part-time basis.
• Will not work overtime for the duration of the Technical Programme unless authorized to do so.

• Certified Copy of National ID not older than 3 months.
• Highest School or College qualification (certified copy not older than 3 months)
• Full motivation why you wish to join the programme( including preferred field of study/ training (Electrical, Fitting etc)

Note:

• Employees who have previously qualified on a TLA Apprenticeship/Learnership will not be considered
• Successful internal candidates will return to a vacant position, at current level available in Production which will be identified by Industrial Engineering at the completion of the programme
