Duration: 36 months fixed term workplace experiential training contract (2025 – 2028)
Location: Belville Factory, Cape Town
Role Description:
Ardagh Glass (Pty) Ltd has training opportunities for apprentices to increase capacity of critical and scarce artisan skills within the organisation. These opportunities will also provide our South Arican youth with the experience needed in their respective fields of study.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Enters 36 months fixed term workplace experiential training contract.
- Attends Training, including training at accredited training centres, to complete training schedule relevant to the field of study as and when required.
- Attends work complying with normal conditions specified in the contract.
- Executes work that is relevant to the field of study and specified in the training schedule or the revised schedule/programme where this is agreed to.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
- South African Citizens
- N2-N6 with 4 subjects and relevant trade theory included, or
- Technical Matric with Maths, Science and relevant trade theory included, or
- NCV Level 4 Engineering Certificate with 7 subjects and relevant trade theory included
- Must be willing to do shift – work
Added Advantage:
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Driver’s Licence (Code EB)
