Purpose of the role
The Engineering Assistants supports artisans by assisting with basic tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is essential in assisting with daily operations. handling tools. and performing simple maintenance tasks and ensuring that health and safety environment is created and adhered to during working hours.
Key responsibilities include:
• Assisting artisans with basic repairs and maintenance.
• Preparing and organizing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe.
• Carrying out simple inspections and reporting issues.
• Following instructions to support technical tasks.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Education /Qualification / Experience
• Matric /
• N2/N3 Engineering qualification
• Any exposure working with an Artisan (would be advantageous)
Skills, Knowledge and Responsibilities
• The Engineering Assistant will support Artisans by assisting with basic tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role is essential in assisting with daily operations, handling tools. and performing simple maintenance tasks.
