Job Advert Summary
In order to grow our Inland Farm team, Rainbow is looking for a Maintenance Artisan. It will be headquartered in Rustenburg, and the incumbent will answer to the Maintenance Foreman. The chosen candidate will be in charge of maintaining and repairing agricultural machinery and equipment in the civil, diesel, and mechanical fields.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 (Matric Certificate)
Diesel Mech/Electrical Trade Certificate
Drivers license
Wireman’s License (Optional)
3-5 years’ experience in Electrical/Mechanical engineering and related
Supervisory/leadership skills
Knowledge and application of disciplinary processes
Administrative knowledge
Duties and Responsibilities
Technical
help with the setup and breakdown of machinery
repairing automobiles, inspecting vehicles, and maintaining generators
Electrical: Machinery and equipment inspection in accordance with the supplier specifications listed in the maintenance manuals
cleaning in rooms with generators
car wiring, auto electrician
independently carry out repetitive and routine maintenance jobs in the field of agriculture.
Help a handyman out with problems that they can’t fix at their level of proficiency
Keep a spotless workspace and have extra parts available.
Conduct Mechanical breakdowns and standby duties
Make sure the workplace is safe.
Join a team that performs well.
help with projects and breakdowns.
Engineering Management
Work planning in accordance with the maintenance schedule, plan, and breakdown All agricultural machinery and equipment must be maintained and repaired in line with the maintenance plan and schedule.
Every day, all work done at Agriculture is inspected, including residential structures, and certificates of conformity are given.
Maintenance handyman discipline under strict supervision
Create daily job cards and evaluate the task done
time sheets per day
Order supplies and hardware in accordance with the BR and SSR Procedure.
All direct employees’ training and development in accordance with the department’s training and development plan
The worker must be available and ready to work extra hours.
