As part of their team, Tsebo is currently seeking a Driver (TSE230315-2) for a permanent position in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1-2 years of driving experience and a valid driver’s license. In addition, the candidate should have excellent driving skills and knowledge of the Gauteng/Johannesburg area.
The Driver will be responsible for delivering items daily as per schedule, picking up goods and reports daily, and driving within the laws of S.A as laid out in the road safety act. They will also be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is roadworthy, conducting pre and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining the logbook for the record mileage for every trip, and submitting petrol slips used monthly.
To excel in this position, the candidate should possess communication skills (verbal and written), planning and organizing skills, time management skills, and the ability to record and update data. The candidate should be a nondrinker (advantageous) and well versed with street maps. The candidate may also be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside the scope of responsibility.
