Working Environment :Crocodile River Mine.
This position requires from the incumbent to work underground.
THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE ARE ESSENTIAL
Minimum qualifications and requirements:
• Grade 10/ABET3/EC LEV2
• Electrical Aide Certificate
• Competent B
• Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket) ALTHOUGH NOT LIMITED TO, THE INCUMBENT’S MAIN
RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
• Assists to repair equipment according to standards and procedures and manufacturers specifications. • Assists to maintain equipment according to standards and procedures, prescribed maintenance schedules and manufacturers specifications. • Assists to construct equipment according to standards and procedures. relevant drawings, and specifications. • Assists to fabricate equipment according to standards and procedures, relevant drawings, and specifications. • Coordinates the activities of subordinates by assigning tasks, follow up and report to supervisor. • Maintains Health, Safety and Environmental practices according to standards and procedures, and to conduct Risk Assessment on relevant tasks. • Performs end of shift procedures according to standards and procedures e.g. cleans tools and working area, stores tools and locks up. • Must be able to work overtime when required
