FITTING LEARNERSHIP
invitation to apple for a learnershin in Mechanical Engineering: Fitting First Battery is extending an invitation to unemployed male candidates who are interested in obtaining the following qualification — National Certificate:
Mechanical Engineering:
Fitting NQF Level 2, to commence in November 2023.
Number of Candidates 10 Unemployed male youth – due to restrictions in the workplace environment at First Battery, only male candidates will be considered.
Location The project is located within East London
Duration The programme will be offered over a period of 12 months.
Minimum Requirements
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be able and willing to work shifts
• Must have successfully completed Grade 12 with Maths/Science. N2 Mechanical Engineering would be strongly recommended.
• Must be able and willing to work shifts. • Must be able to do assignments and tasks given without close supervision.
• Be able to read/write/communicate in English
Suitable and short listed candidates will undergo the following selection process:
• Write assessments to determine numeracy and literacy levels as well as practical assessments.
• Will undergo structured interview process.
• A medical exam will be conducted prior to final selection.
