Job Description
Assist Maintenance Artisan in all activities related to plant maintenance
Assist Maintenance Artisan in conducting pre-task Risk analysis
Prepare and clean work areas prior to task execution and ensure that work areas are kept tidy at all times to facilitate a safe working environment
Carry tools and equipment to assist the Maintenance Artisan execute various tasks
Keep all hand tools in neat condition with particular emphasis on power tools
Perform basic welding tasks – stick and TIG
Strive towards Zero harm
Qualifications & Experience
Matric
Technical qualification N4 or equivalent
Working toward obtaining a Fitter Trade Test Certificate
1 – years’ experience in chemical plant maintenance
