ARTISAN LEARNERSHIP (DIESEL MECHANIC) X2 VENETIA REF: MRCHRA01/24
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Artisan Learnership (Diesel Mechanic), to be based at Training Academy near Carletonville. Gauteng. The successful candidate will report to the EDT Officer (Engineering).

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills: • Grade 12
• Valid N2 Certificate which include the following subjects
Engineering Mathematics
Engineering Science
Engineering Drawing
Diesel or Motor Trade Theory

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
• Must be medically fit for underground work
• Must not have criminal record

ARTISAN LEARNERSHIP (FITTING AND TURNING) X1 VENETIA REF: MRCHRA02/24
following minimum qualifications and skills:
• Grade 12
• Valid N2 Certificate which include the following subjects
Engineering Mathematics
Engineering Science
Engineering Drawing
Fitting and Machining
Suitable candidates must have the

following work experience:
• Must be medically fit for underground work
• Must not have crirninal record

 

ARTISAN LEARNERSHIP (ELECTRICIAN) X2 VENETIA REF: MRCHRA03/24
following minimum qualifications and skills:
• Grade 12
• Valid N2 Certificate which include the following subjects
Engineering Mathematics
Engineering Science
Engineering Drawing
Rigging Theory

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:
• Must be medically fit for underground work
• Must not have criminal record
The successful candidate will be

responsible for, but not be limited to:
• Carry out all occupational related work for the employer required for the practical workplace experience activities specified in the Leanership • Complying with the employer policies and procedures • Be available for, and participate in all structure learning and practical workplace experience activities required by Learnership • Attend all theoretical learning sessions and practical learning activities with approved training provider • Participate in any assessment activities that are required for all the final assessment at the end of the Learnership • Will attend the Artisan Learnership Program or work as per specific working cycle of respective site, which may include attending or working Saturdays and Sundays • The learner will devote the whole learner’s time, attention and ability to the training provided and shall obey all legitimate orders and instruction

• Will be expected to be appropriately dressed, groomed and ready for work at the starting time of each learner shift
The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the Learnership. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South Africans (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.
