External Community Learnership

Location: Nokeng Fluorspar Mine, situated in the area of Rust De Winter, ± 80km north east of Pretoria

Field of Training: Boilermaking, Electrical and Mining

Nature of Training: Theory and Practical

Commencement of Training: August/September 2024

Minimum Requirements: Grade 10/11 and preferably Grade 12. Must be a South African citizen. Good communication skills. Maths, Physical Science and English (advantage). Medical fitness.

Targeted Communities: Nokaneng, Pankop, Phake, Moloto, Rapotokwane, Pienaarsrivier, Mmametlhake, Rooikop, Rust de Winter and De Wagensdrift – Proof of residence required.

Overview

SepFluor is rapidly emerging as the ‘new name’ in fluorspar exploration, mining and beneficiation in South Africa and globally. SepFluor, founded in 2004, is a HDSA-compliant company.

SepFluor’s portfolio includes its world-class operating nokeng Fluorspar Mine, the wallmannsthal Fluorspar Mine project with a Pre-feasibility Study (PFS) in place, and a Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS) completed for construction of a fluorochemical  beneficiation plant.

Nokeng Fluorspar Mine, situated north-east of Pretoria in South Africa’s Gauteng province, has an estimated total Mineral Reserve (SAMREC-compliant) of 12Mt, contained in two deposits, Plattekop and Outwash Fan. At Wallmannsthal Fluorspar Mine, also north of Pretoria, a 7.9Mt Resource (SAMREC-compliant) has been estimated.
