Job Overview
Thato truck clinic is offering fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to become Diesel Mechanic or Automotive Motor Mechanics (Petrol). This role is perfect for someone who is eager to train, develop into skilled technician within motor industry. The selected candidate will participate in a comprehensive Apprentice Program, assisting with repairs under the guidance of qualified technician and working towards fulfilling MerSeta’s trade requirement over a period of 36 months.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Education: Grade 12 with Mathematics and physics
• Driver License recommended.
• Mechanical Insight: Strong technical aptitude, with prior experience or skill in mechanical field being and advantage.
Key Responsibilities
• Attend Technical Training and level Course as scheduled
• Assist with vehicle repairs to gain hands-on experience under a technician ‘s supervision
• Prepare diligently for trade test to ensure qualification within 4 years
• Maintain a clean, organise workplace, keeping tools and equipment in good working condition
• Adhere to workplace safety protocols, Labour relations and conduct rules.
Perform ad-hoc responsibility assigned to you.
