APPRENTICE PROGRAMME:
Thos Begbie is a company, with a history of more than 136 years serving the mining industry in South Africa would like to invite unemployed youth to apply for an apprentice training Programme in the following trade:
Moulders x2
THE ROLE:
• Preparing and assembling moulds.
• Working with different materials, such as sand, resin, or metals.
• Operating machinery and tools safely.
• Ensuring high-quality production standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
REQUIREMENTS
• Must have at least Grade 12 (Matric)
• Minimum N2 Certificate with:
✓ Mathematics
✓ Engineering Science
✓ Engineering Drawing
✓ N2 Moulders Theory or N3 Mechanotechnology or N4 Mechatronics
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
• Technical knowledge.
• Self-motivated person and disciplined.
• Good ethnical behaviour and willingness to learn.
• Observe safety standards and good time management skills
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• No prior experience required —just enthusiasm and a can-do attitude!
