Izizwe Opencast Mining Pty Ltd, strategically focused on expanding its services into the coal market, acquired the Fraser Alexander Bulk Mech division on May 1, 2017, gaining expertise in Smelter Internal Material Handling.
Post-acquisition, Zizwe underwent restructuring to enhance operational efficiency. In 2023, we decided to re-enter the Smelter Internal Material Handling market, signifying renewed focus.
In this sector, Zizwe offers comprehensive solutions for both Hot Work and Cold Work applications, including raw material handling, specialized slag digging and hauling, furnace tasks, and product handling.
It ensures efficient preparation and removal of ingot and layer casting beds and handles furnace products. General plant services like housekeeping, dust suppression, and road maintenance support overall operations.
