Woodlands Dairy (Pty) Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about engineering and the FMCG industry. and the FMCG industry. They are looking for dedicated candidates to join their Millwright Apprenticeship program for 2025. This internship will allow the successful applicants to receive the necessary training and development to become trade-tested Millwrights under the conditions prescribed by the FoodBev SETA.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Enroll as a Millwright apprentice and undergo practical and theoretical training.

Learn to maintain, repair, and optimize machinery and equipment in the packing and production areas.

Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of equipment.

Assist in diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs and installations.

Gain hands-on experience and exposure to the technical aspects of Millwright work in the FMCG sector.

Requirements:

  • Minimum qualification of a Grade 12 or N3 certificate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

 

  • Strong technical aptitude and interest in the field of engineering.

 

  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.

 

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

  • High level of commitment to completing the apprenticeship program and gaining trade qualifications.
