• Electrician
• Fitter and tunner
• diesel mechanic
• boilermaker
Eligibility Criteria:
To be considered for the maksal Engineering Apprenticeship, you must meet the following requirements:
• Matric Certificate (or equivalent qualification) with key subjects:
• Pure Mathematics
• Physical Science
• N2 Qualification
• People with Disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply.
The programme is ideal for individuals eager to learn and grow within the engineering industry
Apprenticeship Structure:
• On-the-Job Training: Successful candidates will be placed in the Maintenance Department for hands-on training.
• Technical Theory Classes: Apprentices will attend Technical Theory blocks (TT blocks) at a selected Technical College, focusing on enhancing a trade
• Trade Test: At the end of the apprenticeship, apprentices will take a Trade Test and, upon successful completion, qualify as an Artisan.
