About company:
Thos Begbie, a company, with a history of more than 138 years serving the mining industry in South Africa would like to invite unemployed youth to apply for an apprentice training Programme in the following trade:
Apprentice Fitter & Turner
THE ROLE
• Assembling, fitting, and maintaining mechanical part
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Operating lathes, milling machines, arid other workshop equipment
• Ensuring high-quality production standards
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
REQUIREMENTS AND COMPETENCIES:
• Must have at least Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum N2 Certificate with:
✓ Mathematics
✓ Engineering Science
✓ Engineering Drawing
N3 Mechanotechnology or N4 Mechatronics
