QUALIFICATIONS (Essential unless otherwise indicated)
• Grade 12 (with Mathematics and Science)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS (Essential unless otherwise indicated)
• Medically fit Meet required medical fitness standards
• Driver’s license Valid Code B/EB driver’s license
• Applicants must be willing to be trained during shifts
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Computer literacy o Basic computer literacy
• Physical requirements o Foot-eye-hand
•and-ear coordination
TRAINING PERIOD • Duration of twenty-four (24) months
REMUNERATION AND CONDITIONS
• Remuneration will be based on a monthly stipend during the allocated training period according to Company remuneration practices.
• The Learner will be appointed on a fixed term contract for the duration of the training programme.
• It should be clearly noted that Assmang Limited will be under NO obligation whatsoever to employ the Learner upon completion of their training with the Company.
• The successful candidate will be appointed as a Learnership subject to being certified medically fit as per the Mine Health and Safety Act 29/1996 and meeting the requirements of the Company’s Code of Practice — Minimum standards of fitness to perform work at a Mine. The selected candidates will also undergo a Dover assessment as deemed necessary by the Company and as per Regulator requirements. aces
