Minimum requirements
South African citizen with a valid SA ID
18–35 years old
-Currently unemployed
-Valid driver’s licence
-Proof of residential address
-Medically fit and able to pass Fitness Assessment & RFA
-School or N2 route (one of the two):
-Grade 12 with Mathematics (±50% or -higher) and Physical Science (±40% or higher); or
-N2 with relevant subjects for your trade
-Electrical/Millwright/Auto-Electrics: N2 Mathematics & N2 Science
-Fitter/Diesel Mechanic: N2 Mathematics, N2 Science & N2 Engineering Drawing
Boilermaker/Plater Welder: N2 Mathematics, N2 Science & N2 Structural Drawing
-Attend SIVOS theoretical training and complete on-the-job practicals on site
Follow safety standards and mine procedures at all times
Complete logbooks, assignments, and
-trade-test preparation requirements
