Introduction
Tshipi é Ntle Manganese Mining is offering an exciting opportunity for vibrant, motivated and talented individuals to join our Engineering Learnership Programme (18.2). This 36-month programme provides structured workplace learning and trade-related training in the engineering field. The programme is available to all JTG District residents. On successful completion, candidates will obtain a recognized MQA/QCTO Trade Test Certificate. The relevant trades are:
• Electrician x 1
• Fitter (Fitting and Turning) x 1
• Boilermaker x 1
• Diesel Mechanic x 1
• Millwright x1
• Instrumentation Mechanician
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend theoretical and practical training as per the learnership/apprenticeship programme.
- Adhere to mine safety, health, environment, and quality (SHEQ) standards.
- Always use correct PPE.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
- Maintain discipline, punctuality, and teamwork.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 with Mathematics and Science (Not Mathematical Literacy)
- N2 Engineering Studies or higher with all subjects as per the discipline requirements, all passed with a minimum of 40% OR NCV Level 4 in the appropriate trade with all subjects passed with a minimum 40%
- Valid Driver’s License
- Provide proof of residence including High School attended
- Ability to obtain a Medical Fitness Certificate
