PURPOSE:
In this apprenticeship program, candidates will get training in the millwright, tool, jig, and die maker crafts.
The position of the incumbent will be hourly for the duration of the program.
At the conclusion of the program, permanent placement is not certain because all placements are based on vacancies.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Tool, Jig, and Die Maker Trade
NTC3 with Maths,
Engineering Science,
Technical drawing and Tool making trade Theory
Technical Matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design and Mechanical trade.
Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
Millwright
NTC3 with Maths, Engineering Science, Electrical trade theory/Mechanical trade theory or Technical matric with Maths, Physical Science, Graphic Design, and Mechanical trade.
Workshop experience in the trade related discipline (advantageous).
