Job Description
To work in our Groceries Division, RCL FOODS is looking for an electrician. The position reports to the engineering manager and will be headquartered in Randfontein. RCL FOODS is searching for a qualified candidate to maintain the equipment at the site to guarantee maximum efficiency and make sure that all planned maintenance work is completed on time.
Minimum Requirements
N3 and a certificate of electrical trade testing
License for a Wireman is complete
5 years minimum of experience maintaining a production line or FMCG products
Driver’s license with code 08
Duties & Responsibilities
Observe and maintain the production machinery at the factory.
responsible for ensuring that preventative plant maintenance is carried out in a way that is both cost-effective and ensures the least amount of product loss and downtime.
Production lines, quick packing lines, dust collection, and explosion-proof equipment maintenance
Upkeep of the electrical system – HT transformers LT distribution of 14 Transformers of 10 MVA, HT switches, and HT ring feeders
identifying problems with and fixing electrical equipment
building new electrical machinery for plants.
Fix problems quickly and efficiently.
a prompt and timely response to plant problems
fulfillment of administrative paperwork accurately
Work additional hours and be on call as needed
