REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12.
A driver’s license.
PDP.
No functional experience required.
A familiarity with the policies and procedures of the department, as well as courier services.

 

Abilities:

The ability to drive, literacy, the ability to interact with others, and the ability to plan and organize.

RESPONSIBILITIES

To provide transport services that are both effective and efficient within the province. Carry out physical inspections of the vehicles. Contribute to the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of the vehicles under your care. Office administrative.

Should be sent to the Assistant Director of Fleet Management at Private Bag X7263, Emalahleni, 1035, or they can be delivered in person to the Labour Building on the corner of Hofmeyer Street and Beatty Avenue in Emalahleni.

A SAQA evaluation report is necessary for foreign credentials (only when shortlisted).

Applications won’t be accepted if the necessary paperwork is missing.

Candidates that are qualified will go through a personnel suitability check (criminal record, citizenship, credit record checks, qualification verification and employment verification).
The aforementioned post might not be filled by the Department. The NSG must provide a pre-entry certificate to SMS candidates.

To evaluate technical abilities relevant to the position, the Department will organize a technical competency exercise for SMS selected applicants.
The selection panel will provide recommendations for applicants for general management abilities utilizing the required DPSA SMS competence evaluation instruments following the technical exercise and interview.

An internship performance agreement is required of all applicants.
