- To assist qualified artisans in response to planned and un-planned work in order to ensure maximum plant availability.
Minimum Requirements
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Matric( Grade 12)
- Skilled worker trade test certificate
- In-house training in lubrication and maintenance work of oil sampling and identifying lubricants
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Driver’s Licence.
- EMS,QMS,On key and other system Skills Physical Requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintaining and operating oxy-acetylene equipment
- Using arc welding equipment
- Welding a fillet and corner joint
- Welding a butt-joint
- Welding a horizontal butt-joint
- Welding an overhead fillet joint
- Hard facing surfaces
- Fabricating clamps and brackets
- Maintaining and repairing an Air slide
- Maintaining and repairing Conveyor Belts
- Maintaining and repairing an Elevator
- Maintaining and repairing a Screw Conveyor
- Maintaining and repairing a Cyclone
- Maintaining and repairing a Dust Collector
- Maintaining and repairing a Ducting and Dampers
- Maintaining and repairing Vibrating Screens
- Maintaining and repairing a Sampler
- Maintaining and repairing a Weigher
- Maintaining and repair Winches
- Butt-welding pipes in position
- Welding a vertical up butt-joint
- Using Mig welding equipment
- Measuring instruments
- Read electrical drawings and wiring panels
- Wire and test single phase installations
- Test and connect three phase motors
