Introduction
Our client is a giant within the agriculture sector, they are looking for a Maintenance assistant with in-depth knowledge of mechanical workings of machinery and equipment. Someone who understands electrical workings of machinery and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform maintenance inspections
• Repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns in buildings, packhouse machinery/equipment etc.
• Assist with planning and execution of preventative maintenance program
• Reassemble / disassemble / replace defective mechanical and/or electrical equipment
• Supervise a team of up to four sub-ordinates
• Keep working area and equipment clean and safe
Desired Experience & Qualification
• Grade 12
• N3 Millwright / N3 Fitter and Turner
• Preferably 2-3 years’ experience within a production facility
• Willingness to work nightshift during season, be on standby and work overtime
Package & Remuneration
R 15 000 – R 22 000 ctc per month (depending on experience and qualifications).
