Job description
- Dig holes and trenches, plant poles and lay cables in trenches.
- Load or unload material.
- Chase and cut walls and concrete floors for conduit.
- Strip redundant installations and equipment incidental thereto from which the supply cables have been removed.
- Clean office and worship areas.
- Prepare refreshments.
- Install and fix flush and surface mounted wire ways and ancillary equipment thereto.
- Install cables including fitting glands, making off and securing such cables, excluding the connection thereof.
- Assist with erecting and connecting luminaries.
- Able to do trenching/digging for cable installation.
- Assist a Master installation electrician, an installation electrician, an electrical tester for single phase , an electrician, an artisan, a domestic appliance mechanic, a domestic appliance repairer and an Elconop1, Elconop 2, Elconop 3 but not performing and work individually except as set out in bullet no 1 and 10
- Grade 12/Matric
- Strong verbal and written communication
