We are looking for Artisan Assistants who have the capacity to assist Artisans with breakdowns on a Mechanical and electrical level.
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Artisan Assistants to support our team of artisans in the creation of high-quality handcrafted products. The ideal candidates will have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, working closely with artisans to enhance the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist artisans in the preparation of materials, tools, and workspaces for various projects.
• Support the creation of products by following instructions and utilizing tools and techniques under the guidance of experienced artisans.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Participate in quality control by inspecting products and providing
• Assistant to repair equipment according to standards and procedures and manufacture specifications
• Maintain health, safety and environmental practices according to standards and procedures
• Perform end of shift procedures according to standards and procedures e.g. clean tools and working area , store tools and lockup
• Must be able to work overtime when required
Minimum Requirements :
• Grade 10 /Abet 3
•Mining experience is an added advantage ‘Familiar with hand tools
• Medically fit as per the MHSA/OHSA
• No criminal record
