ABERDARE CABLES INVITE UNEMPLOYED YOUTH TO APPLY FOR A ENGINEERING APPRENTICE
Apprenticeship x 9.
Apprentice opportunity exists at our Pietermaritzburg site for prospective candidates interested in pursuing an apprenticeship with the company in the following trades:
• 4 X Fitter
• 3 X Electrician
• 2 X Boilermaker
The minimum requirements for these positions are:
• Matric Certificate with Math’s and Science
• N3 with relevant trade theory
• Excellent written and verbal
communication skills
Successful candidates would be expected to:
– Sign the relevant apprenticeship contracts lasting a minimum of 3 years This means that successful applicants will relinquish all previous contracts with Abordaro)
– Be prepared to travel to Training Centre in Pinetown for phase training at own cost.
– Apply for artisan vacancies within the Company subject to the successful completion of their trade test and availability of vacancies at the time.
