Introduction
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Semi‑Skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with diesel engines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with the servicing, maintenance, and repair of diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy-duty vehicles
- Perform basic diagnostics and report mechanical faults
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks
- Replace and repair components such as filters, belts, brakes, and hoses
- Support senior mechanics with major repairs and engine work
- Ensure tools and workshop areas are kept clean, safe, and organized
- Follow company safety protocols and work procedures
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric or equivalent (advantageous)
- 1–3 years’ experience working with diesel engines or commercial vehicles
- Basic understanding of diesel mechanical systems
- Ability to use standard workshop tools and equipment
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Package & Remuneration
R10 000 to R20 000 depending on expereince.
