Programme Overview

Daimler Truck Southern Africa Ltd has partnered with Government on the Youth Employment Services (YES) programme to provide unemployed youth with an opportunity to gain workplace experience for a period of 12 months. We are proud to be a part of this initiative that plays a role in supporting the youth of South Africa. In compliance to the Company’s Integrity, Anti Bribery Codes, Conflict of Interest Policy, Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality requirements and to perform delegated SHERQ tasks and duties & to inform superior about deviations.

Location: Centurion & East London

Who can apply?

• Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 – 29 years old
• Minimum Grade 12, Tertiary qualification advantageous
• Clear Criminal record
• Must speak English
• Must be computer literate
• Candidates must strictly not have participated in any YES4Youth programme before
• No work experience is required

Preference to be afforded to applicants with the following qualifications:

• Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial, Mechatronics.)
• Human Resource Management
• Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics
• Finance (Financial Management, Applied Mathematics, Economics Accounting, Tax)
• Information Technology
• Marketing – (Communication, Public Relations, Digital Media)
