Purpose of the Position
The successful candidate will assist learners during practical training sessions, maintain training equipment and aids, and ensure that
workshops are kept clean, safe, and well-organised in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a General Worker or Artisan Assistant in a technical workshop environment.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks.
• Good understanding of workshop housekeeping and occupational health and safety practices will be an added advantage.
General Worker (Grounds and Facilities)
Purpose of the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and assisting with the general upkeep. Duties include grass cutting, gardening, cleaning of outdoor areas, minor maintenance tasks, and ensuring that the college premises are clean, safe, and presentable always.
Minimum Requirements
Grade 10 or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience as a General Worker, Groundsman, or in
property maintenance will be an advantage.
Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
•Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening equipment, including lawnmowers and brush cutters.
Basic knowledge of health and safety practices.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Reliable, punctual, and willing to perform duties as assigned.
